Black dial
The dial is the distinctive face of a Rolex watch, the feature most responsible for its identity and readability. The Explorer model’s characteristic 3, 6 and 9 numerals are filled with a luminescent material emitting a long-lasting blue glow, like the hour markers and hands. Like all Rolex timepieces, the Explorer 36’s dial is designed and manufactured in-house, largely by hand to ensure perfection.

HOW TO MEASURE
1. Place a sheet of paper on the floor and against a wall.
2. Make sure you are wearing the same socks that you would normally wear with this type of shoe.
3. Wearing these socks, stand on the sheet of paper with your foot perpendicular to the wall and your heel against the wall.
4. Then use a pen to draw a line just in front of your big toe. Repeat for both feet and take the longer distance to determine your size.
5. Using a ruler, measure the distance between the wall and the line you drew to find your size.

- The length in the size chart is the length of the insole.
- To ensure a comfortable fit, the insole length should be about 0.5 - 1 cm longer than your foot length.
- If you are between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size for a comfortable fit.
